Yesterday I visited the first day of a unique Porsche weekend in Nieuwegein in the centre of the Netherlands. It was the Porsche secondhand event. All the Porsche dealers in our small country had brought their secondhand Porsches under one roof in a very nice and modern exposition hall for this weekend. There they were on display for future owners who could visit and look at 150 different preowned cars in one day. The cars were well lit with floodlights. There was a nice cafetaria area for coffee and drinks and also a Selection & Design shop by the Dutch importer PON. But most importantly were the cars on display with a Panamera outside at the entrance and another one inside (a dealer demonstrator). The major part however were 911's with a variety of all models from 993's to the most modern 911 Carrera and GT3. Of course there were also many Boxsters, a few Cayman models and some more Cayenne. There were quite some visitors when I was there and I really enjoyed the event. There was good music, nice bites and some movies were displayed on large screens where Porsches could be seen in action.
So a really nice and interesting event which is certainly worth repeating.
